Fingerless gloves 40 - 50 Pants, rolled down, medium weight jacket, fingered gloves 30 - 40 Same as above, add wool base layer shirt 20 - 30 Same as above, add wool socks and beanie hat under helmet 10 - 20 Same as above, Add wind-proof shell over pants and switch to windproof fleece-lined jacket or add second layer of wool, and some toe warmers for the piggies. Fingerless gloves 50 - 60 T shirt or sleeves, depending on how close to 50. Also wearing a hat under the helmet was too warm at 38 degrees. It was appropriate on the day it was 5 below zero last January. ![]() I found a scarf was too warm for me at 12 degrees this past winter.
